This
short but challenging par 3 is protected by
a classic
high flashed bunker.
Avondale
Golf & Tennis Club, located in the heart of the
Pacific Northwest, was in need of a new irrigation system
and some renovation work. The setting itself
was magnificent, although the course lacked the design
creativity which makes for a great golfing experience.
In 1995, the members decided it was time to renovate.
The design concept was to bring a classic look back
to the golf course by using strategic design principles.
Features such as lakes, streams, high flashed bunkers
and multiple tee boxes were used to create this look
and to challenge golfers. Services Provided: Master
Planning, Construction Documents and Construction Observation.
